Jackie Bercaw B.S. CPT
Personal Trainer
Growing up in Auburn, Indiana, Jackie played many sports. She first started playing soccer at the age of 3. In elementary, she started playing basketball and baseball making her days very active. She then continued to play soccer, basketball in high school and switched to softball also at DeKalb High School.
Shortly after graduating from high school, her father, Rex Bercaw, pasted away from ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). Jackie learned very quickly the understanding of health and that the quality of life is an important part of one’s being. Because of her father's illness she had a strong interest in the human body and the potential the body has with the brain and central nervous system.
While attending Tri-State University (Trine University) continued to play soccer and began to recognize the tolls of playing a sport on a college level. To stay in her best condition she took Personal Training Classes there falling in love with working out and maintaining the physical body. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotions and Recreational Programming.
After graduation from TSU, Jackie returned to Auburn to work at her hometown YMCA being promoted to Family, Youth, and Sports Program Director. In January, 2009 she became engaged to Brian.
Being in a very stimulating job, Jackie is very happy and excited to be on the team as a Personal Trainer at Kachmann Mind Body Institute and is looking forward to enhancing the lives of others.
